Habiendo nacido en Cataluña, no recuerdo un verano sin ir allí (o venir aquí cuando aún no me había mudado), y por no ser menos, este año también me he pasado el mes de Agosto en la ciudad Condal.
Being born in Catalonia, I don't remember a summer without going there (or coming here when I still didn't moved), and not to be outdone, this year I also spent the month of August in the city of Barcelona.
La Casa Batlló se encuentra en pleno Paseo de Gracia, y es una de las famosas obras del arquitecto catalán Antonio Gaudí. La entrada es algo cara, pero hay quienes dicen que vale la pena (nunca he entrado).

Se llama La Basílica, y es una galería de joyería contemporánea ubicada entre la catedral y la Plaza Felip Neri. Más de 100 diseñadores tienen sus piezas expuestas en sus antiguas vitrinas restauradas.

Getting into the Barri Gotic, we find narrow streets, and among them, my favorite store. It's called The Basilica, and is a contemporary jewelry gallery located between the cathedral and Plaza Felip Neri. Over 100 designers have their pieces on display in their old restored windows.

En la última planta del Corte Inglés de la Plaza Cataluña, está el restaurante desde donde se puede ver gran parte de la ciudad. Pero para restaurantes os recomiendo La Fonda, en el Carrer dels Escudellers, 10. Buenos precios y comida aún mejor, eso sí, hay que ir temprano.
On the top floor of the Corte Inglés in the Plaza Catalunya, there's a restaurant where you can see much of the city. But I recommend La Fonda Restaurant in Carrer dels Escudellers, 10. Great prices and food even better, though, get there early.
